Not every good conversation needs an invitation. Sometimes the best parts of the day are the ones nobody put on the calendar.

Some things are better without a calendar invite.

Running into someone you haven’t seen in months. Sharing a table because every other seat is taken. Asking about the book someone’s reading.

Small things.

But small things have a habit of becoming stories.

We can’t plan those moments. And we don’t want to.

We can make the coffee. Put out the chairs. Keep the door open.

The rest belongs to whoever walks in.
