ONE MORE SEAT.
The best moments rarely start with a plan. Sometimes they start with an empty chair, a shared table, and one small question: “Is this seat taken?”

The best things rarely start with a plan.
Sometimes they start with a question.
“Is this seat taken?”
You move your coffee. They pull up a chair. Maybe that’s it. Maybe twenty minutes later you’re still talking.
That’s what we like about a shared table. It leaves a little room for chance.
You can arrive alone without feeling alone. Read your book. Watch the room. Say hello. Say nothing. Stay ten minutes or stay until your coffee goes cold.
We don’t think every stranger needs to become a friend. We just think there should be more places where they could.
So we keep the tables close.
And we always leave room for one more.
